A new Zillion fan game!

Hello again, friends!
Today we are releasing the first prototype of a new Zillion fan game! This time, we are recreating an old Master System game called 'Assault City' with characters from Zillion. =]
If you were a fan of Zillion back in the day, you might have asked yourself: Why did Sega never release a light gun Zillion game? After all, the Light Phaser is modeled after the first gen Zillion. It seemed a natural fit, or better yet, an expected fit. But Sega never did that. Word is that Sega and Tatsunoko (the creators of the Zillion anime) had a fallout and both dropped the IP.
A few years after that alleged falling out, Sega released a light gun game called 'Assault City'. When I played it back in the day, it struck me how much it resembled Zillion. I always thought that 'Assault City' reused assets from some abandoned Zillion game. I can't prove that, so I did the next best thing. With the help of my friend Michel Borges doing pixel art, we are recreating 'Assault City' to resemble the game I wanted to play back in the day.
So, if you like Zillion or is just curious about what could have been, I hope you like our little artistic exercise!
Cheers! =]
